Bezinal
Bezinal is a brand name used by the fence and wire manufacturer Bekaert for some of their coated metal products.
The name Bezinal comes from the main metal components of this type of coating, which are zinc and aluminum, and the company has added their own initial into the mix. So the name is Be + Zin + Al, for Bekaert, Zinc and Aluminum.
Bezinal and other zinc alloy coatings for metal are applied the same way zinc is during the hot dip galvanizing process, except in this case, aluminum is added to the molten metal in the galvanizing bath.
There are many studies that have shown that adding aluminum to the metal used to hot dip steel can extend the corrosion resistance of that metal many times over.
