Hex head bolt
Hex head bolts are probably the most recognizable type of bolt used in the fence industry.
These classic bolts have a hexagonal-shaped head, which gives the bolt its name. They can be loosened and tightened using standard wrenches or shifters, and they are available in a huge range of sizes and lengths.
Hex head bolts can be used for various things on your fences and gates, and they can also be combined with chemical anchors to attach fences to existing surfaces.
The biggest drawback to hex head bolts is that they can be easy to remove, although damaging the bolt's thread, tack welding them, or applying a commercial adhesive to the thread during installation can solve that problem.
