Setup charges

Setup charges

Sometimes, especially when you order a non-stock type of fence material or mesh, you will notice that your quote or invoice includes "setup charges."

These charges are for the time it takes to stop the machines used to manufacture that kind of fence material and to set them up with the new type of material.

This often applies to chain link mesh but also to vinyl fences in different or non-standard colors and to other types of fencing and gates that are not "off the shelf" options.

If you want to avoid setup charges for your fence project, you can always choose a fence material that is more widely available.
