Eye tops
Eye tops, also known as loop caps or line post tops, are cap fittings that are used on line posts in North American chain link fence systems. They have an integrated loop or eye that allows fence installers to pass top rails through the cap itself, creating a sturdy fence structure.

Line post tops are manufactured to fit a variety of line post diameters, and they can be made from a variety of materials including pressed steel and cast aluminium. When they're made of steel, they are usually galvanized, and most types of line post tops are available color coated to match PVC coated mesh fences.
