Top rail sleeves
Top rails are an important part of the structure of a North American style chain link fence. Their job is to hold two adjacent sections of top rail together, when you're not using a swedged end top rail.
Top rail sleeves come in a variety of designs, but most are about 6" or 150mm long, have a slight ridge in the center of the sleeve, and have a diameter that's slightly larger than the outside diameter of the top rail. They slide over each piece of top rail, creating a solid connection between them.
Top rail sleeves are made from steel, galvanized, and can be color coated to match color coated fences, if that's what you have.
