If you are installing a powder-coated chain link fence or a color-coated ornamental fence, you will probably need to have some touch-up paint on hand during the installation process.

Whether your fence is powder coated or factory painted, in most cases, there will be some chips, cracks, and scratches that happen during the transport and installation process that you will want to touch up on site. Touch-up paint for fences is designed to do exactly that.

Touch-up paint is also useful when you have to cut, drill or weld your fence on site since you will need to treat the area after you've finished ensuring it remains corrosion-resistant. You can do this by first using a zinc rich cold galvanizing product and then a touch-up paint product.

If you know the RAL or other color code of your fence, you can even get a paint product that matches that color code exactly. You can usually ask the fence manufacturer or supplier for that information.
