Gate post hinge
A gate post hinge is often the other part of a two-part gate hinge assembly used on chain link gates, ornamental gates, and other types of gates that use bolt-on gate hardware.
This part of the gate hinge assembly looks very much like the gate frame hinge, but it's usually larger since gate posts have a larger outside diameter than gate frames do.
Like gate frame hinges, gate post hinges are available in galvanized steel and galvanized and powder-coated options, and they usually bolt around the outside of the gate post.
Unlike gate frame hinges, gate post hinges are the "male" part of the gate hinge assembly, and include a firmly welded gate hinge pin that fits into the loop on the gate frame hinge.
