Tension bars
Tension bars are thin strips of steel flat bar that are installed through the final row of apertures on a stretch of chain link fence, and that allow the chain link fence to be attached to the tension post using tension bands.
Tension bars come in several different widths and weights, and they are available in galvanized and galvanized and powder coated variants, so they will match whatever kind of chain link fence you're installing.
Most tension bars are about 2 inches shorter than the height of the mesh that will be installed on your fence, so that they don't interfere with top rails or bottom rails that might be installed on your fence.
